The singing comes from below the gate now, and one voice leads it: Choirmother Selthe, who first taught the cult to drown without dying. While she keeps the prayer, the temple will never sleep, and the mere will never stop giving up its dead. Take companions through the gate and end her. This is no errand for a lone blade, $N.
