One more lesson before the vale, $N, and it is the one that keeps adventurers alive: what you carry. Your backpack holds sixteen slots, and beside it wait four empty bag loops; every bag you buckle on adds its own space to the pool. So: press F on me again to open my stall, left-click the Linen Pouch in my wares to buy it, then press B to open your bags and left-click the pouch there to buckle it into a free loop. Instructor Maren drills by the muster fire a few steps east: show her the pouch on your belt.

Completion
A fine pouch. Buckle it on if you have not already: press B to open your bags, then left-click the pouch to seat it in a free bag loop, and six more slots are yours to fill with trouble. Now the half of the lesson no bag can hold, $N: what you cannot carry, the Gilded Strongbox keeps. Bursar Wick keeps his strongbox desk up the west path, and he opens the same vault every bursar in every town shares; more vault space can be bought once your purse grows into it. Keep your valuables banked and your bags roomy. A full pack has ended more adventures than any wolf ever did.
